Balancing Profit and Purpose With Isabel Aagaard, Cofounder of LastObject
Isabel Aagaard didn’t just create a product, she started a movement.
Her business, LastObject, creates eco-friendly, premium, beautiful I-should-have-thought-of-that! alternatives to single-use products. It all started with LastSwab: a reusable 'cotton' swab made with a material that's more like rubber or plastic. Unlike its disposable predecessor, it can be cleaned with soap and water and re-used over and over. Isabel and her cofounders went on to launch LastTissue, LastRound (makeup pads), and more eco-friendly products with equally catchy names.
Isabel has a lot to share about how to get clear on your company’s purpose, using Kickstarter to validate and shape your product design, testing prototypes, and the importance of pursuing a mission that will keep you working through all of the toughest entrepreneurial challenges.
