How to Use Artist Collaborations to Boost Sales with Kaylin Marcotte, Jiggy Puzzles

Season #1 Episode #112

We have Kaylin Marcotte, founder of Jiggy Puzzles, on the Female Founder World podcast!

Kaylin was the first employee at successful media startup The Skimm, and started puzzling to unplug from work. It gave her the idea for Jiggy Puzzles: frameable, art-focused puzzles highlighting the designs of female artists. Three years later, sheā€™s sold over 250,000 puzzles and hit $1 million in yearly sales.

Once Jiggy Puzzles launched, Kaylin DMā€™ed influencers and celebrities, and emailed editors to get traction. Then, Covid and lockdowns put a big spotlight on at-home hobbies and fuelled organic growth in 2020. Jiggy Puzzles first sold only through the brand's website, but in 2020 also landed its first retail partner: Anthropology, who found Jiggy Puzzles on Instagram.

In 2022, Kaylin focused on wholesale partnerships, corporate gifts, and launching a new membership program and artist marketplace. This helped Jiggy Puzzles generate $1 million in sales.
